Story points are great as long as there is a team agreement as to
the levels of complexity and risk. A secondary force behind the
correct application of story points is a robust story. One and two
line stories usually destroy the accuracy of story pointing because
there are to many presumptions applied to the story point
assignment. If the stories are solid the story point assignments
can also be solid.

Well put. I'm surprised more people don't know this as common
sense. For anyone who's put any considerable effort into a retail
establishment (whether owner or employee), greeting and
acknowledging a customer and their needs helps retain a connection
and even cuts down on theft. Behold the power of eye contact and
conversation.

Great post and thanks for the link- I've got you entered in the
giveaway as well. And it's amazing how fluid thought borrowing can
be- I think I'm finally getting over the "fetish" aspect of ideas
and more interested in seeing them come alive, even if someone else
executes on them.
